Found it DK_Titan found Shhhhh... don't disturb (Kid Friendly)

Saturday, May 31, 2014Rhode Island

It has become a tradition that we make a yearly geocaching road trip in the US. It's the fifth year in a row that we do so, but the first time we visit the Eastern part of the country – starting in Miami and ending in Boston. This year's trip brought us through 17 states and one Canadian province.

One of our goals for the road trip was to find "old" caches - especially caches hidden in the year 2000. Today's trip from Ardsley, New York State to West Greenwich, Rhode Island gave us the opportunity to find two such caches. We also added two new states to our geocaching map: Connecticut and Rhode Island. Before entering Connecticut we parked the car and had a nice walk along a bike path (finding a bunch of caches). We also had another goal of the day - to get to the ocean and find a few caches at one of the beaches in Connecticut. Unfortunately we had to give up this idea. It was simply too hard finding a place to park at a decent rate.

This cache was found at 19:31. It was our first find in Rhode Island.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
