It has become a tradition that we make a yearly geocaching road trip in the US. It's the fifth year in a row that we do so, but the first time we visit the Eastern part of the country – starting in Miami and ending in Boston. This year's trip brought us through 17 states and one Canadian province.

Today was day 24 of our trip. We started out in West Greenwich, Rhode Island and passed through Massachusetts and New Hampshire towards our next destination: Biddeford in Maine. Our first cache-stop was a nice walk along the 10 Mile River Bike Path just South of the border to Massachusetts.

In Massachusetts we had two main goals - the cache with the most favorite points (The Depot) and the oldest active cache (First Mass). Both finds were very memorable!

We continued our trip towards Maine and made frequent cache-stops. In New Hampshire we took a longer stop and had a nice hike along a previous rail road track (the RRR series). It was great to get some exercise, but the fun was a little bit disturbed by the many bloodthirsty mosquitoes.

This cache was found at 16:28.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
