According to our plan we would arrive in Helsinki Airport at 10:40 this morning. We had booked a hotel in central Helsinki for three nights and were looking very much forward to an extended weekend full of geocaching. However, the plans were partly ruined at 1:30, where we received an SMS from SAS informing us that our plane from Copenhagen to Helsinki was canceled... The result of this was a more than six hour layover in Copenhagen and an arrival time in Helsinki which reduced today's geocaching to a rather short evening trip. We decided to primarily focus on some of the caches, which we considered "must finds" - i.e. the interesting earthcache "Walking on Fossils" at the Central Station, the virtual cache "NMS19 Helsinki" as well as the Webcam cache "NMS6 Lasipalatsi, Helsinki". In addition to these caches, we also found a few other nice caches, which we passed by.

Already during these first hours in Helsinki we realized that this is a great city to visit - nice and clean, full of life and with a friendly atmosphere. The next three days enforced our impression and we can therefore highly recommend others to come!

This cache was our first find in Finland. The log book was signed at 17:55.

Thanks for the cache and greetings from Denmark!

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
