Found it bartacus found Between a Rock and a Low Place

Monday, July 29, 2002North Carolina

Wow --- an unexpected first find for Team Honey-B.

Thanks, docKaos, for another enjoyable hunt. As many times as I've been through the clue area, I've never stopped to look, or even read, the historical markers.

The continued history lesson at the cache site was nice, and the 'audio tour' was a complete riot!

I heartily recommend this cache to other seekers. The park at the final cache location is very well-maintained, and well-documented. It's a cool area to visit in general. I hope the main attraction (the Low Place) stays long enough to make the trip worthwhile for everyone.

The coordinates were great, but the relective signal from the terrain might throw you off a bit. Be a patient and persistent cacher, and you will prevail.

Took the Marvel poster, and left a poncho and plenty of sweat.

Honeychile and I decided to heed Doc's warnings, and trekked out in jeans --- it was a bit hot, but a very wise decision.

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
