Found it colincactus found Hole in One #15 - Dorking

Monday, May 11, 2015South East England, United Kingdom

For some reason I didn't notice this puzzle until a month ago. It didn't take too long to figure out the theme (it was the Cornish village for me) and identify all the letters. From that to the co-ordinates was trouble-free too. Nice puzzle.

It was within walking distance of work so I decided to pick it up one lunchtime but I kept on forgetting to bring my GPSr into work. However today I remembered - a nice sunny day too so I had no excuse.

When I arrived I had to walk on a little as somebody else was passing at the same time. With him gone I returned and saw that I had a number of potential hiding places to search. However a quick glance at the terrain rating cut out some of them. Perhaps there I thought - and of course it was.

I was surprised to see that I was the first visitor this year.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
