Wednesday, October 1, 2008Oregon

The Chicks got a surprise day of caching. We don't get out through the week very often anymore so when we found out we both had a free day off we went. We decided to head north west today & I think it was a good decision. Looks like lots of new caches out this way.
The day isn't real clear today but we can see the top half of the mountain the bottom half was covered with green haze. I think the view would be beautiful on a clear day & you could probably see at least 5 of the mountains. Sure wouldn't want to drive to & from during the winter though. Thanks for bringing us up here for the view & the CACHE.
We did have a interesting experience on the way up to the top since the gps brought us up the back way through some gravel roads (construction going on below) on one of the gravel roads we ran face to face with a large Llama the some how got out of his fence. all the others were on the other side watching her run loose. We decided we better find the owners to let them know she was out. Finally the second house we got to was the right one & all was well he came out to get her back in the fence. Thanks again SL

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
