Attended fogg attended Picnic at Orroral

Saturday, November 8, 2008Australian Capital Territory, Australia

What a day! This had lot of "first times" in it. It was the first time, I rode my bike 125 km return (throw in 1700 meters of elevation change - upwards) to get to a Geocaching event . Another first time was that my lunch was grilled on a public Australian BBQ - by expert BBQ-chef RexTrex. Thanks for that ! On the way back, my speedometer hit 75 kmph the first time - very impressive! And finally, it was my first time at a Geocaching event outside Germany . But then, it turned out to be very similar to what we do at home: chat, tell caching stories, brag , trade "clues", and, most importantly, do some group caching. It was just a bit more windy and cold, though .

Thanks to the winglens for choosing the place and organizing the event! It is definitely a memorable place!
