After a quick drive from the last one, I soon arrived at the lane by the church. I did not have Memory Map with me and had not read the cache page so was wondering how to get to the cache, as it was clear it was beyond the churchyard.

I decided to head back to the main road and see if there is a PF down to the cache from there. Sure enough, there was, although it seemed to go right over a cropped field. Hmmm.

I headed along the indicated PF, yomping my way through the crop (looked a bit like sprouts in the torchlight) and soon arrived at GZ. The problem was, I was still in part of the cropped field with no hint items anywhere close. Hmmmm.

I shone the torch around the border of the field and spotted a few hint items the other side of the hedge. After walking along the hedge-line, I spotted a way through and headed for the nearest hint item. I was 270 degrees round the item before I spotted something that had to be the cache and sure enought it was.

The iPhone said I was 275 ft off the co-ords so I've posted some closer ones above off Google Earth (as I've not figured out how to take co-ord readings on the iPhone yet).

The church is a beautiful one that we've admired the few times we've come past it down this lane.

Thanks for both of the new caches. It's really nice to see some new ones out near home as I was beginning to lose hope of any new ones ever coming out - never seen it so quiet for new caches. More please .

Self portrait with the cache

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
