Found it fogg found Attunga Quarry - bricks for the new capital

Sunday, November 23, 2008Australian Capital Territory, Australia

On another circle around the lake, I stopped at the quarry. As you can see from the photos, the day was quite rainy - but it didn't stop me to complete my mission (width of the quartz veins as been e-mailed to geoaware).

Thanks for bringing me here and telling the story to geoaware - Fogg

infoAn Earthcache is an educational form of a virtual cache. The reward for these caches is learning more about the planet on which we live - its landscapes, its geology or the minerals and fossils that are found there. Many Earthcaches are in National Parks. Some are multi-cache in form, and some have a physical log book located in or close to a Visitor Center. Earthcaches are developed in association with the Geological Society of America.
