Another part of Telford I did not know about. I saw this come out and as it's such a lovely day I dashed out to go and find it.

Stage 1 took a heck of a lot of finding as there are many, many hint items near the co-ords and being a new hider, we did not know how good your co-ords would be. I had a good look around, confident I knew one of two things the hide was likely to be, but could find neither.

A dog walker then came along and sat down on the benches overlooking GZ so there was no way I could carry on the search. I decided to do a circuit of the park looking for things that matched the final cache hint so I could bypass stage 1. I spotted the only area I could find but despite a good root around, could not find the cache.

I returned to stage 1 and the dog walker had thankfully moved on, so I set about spreading out my search. I eventually found the nicely camo'd stage about 40ft off the stated co-ords (I've posted my reading at GZ above in case it helps future finders).

The details in the micro were in a different format than is normal for caches so I re-set my GPSr to that format, typed them in and off I set.

The GPS then zero'd out about 55ft off the nearest item that matched the hint for the final stage. Hmmm - I'll just have to use brute force to find it and check everywhere again.

I was just about on the stage of giving up when I put my hand somewhere it had not been before and felt some tupperware. I'll email you my reading at the final cache as you might want to update the co-ords that are in the first stage to make it a bit more obvious to future finders.

Congratulations on your first cache hide. I hope you don't think I'm grumbling above as I'm not - I enjoyed the challenge of finding the cache and it was a pleasure to do on such a nice day .

Self-portrait with the cache

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
