On sunday one week ago our summer road trip to the Baltic States plus Finland, Sweden and Norway started. I am on the road with Rob2007 and dog Miko and we took on saturday the ferry from Travemünde, Germany, to Liepaja where we stayed for 3 nights.
The weather was sunny, so we decided on Monday to make a trip to Klaipeda and the Curonian Spit. On Tuesday we intended to walk to Karosta, but the beautiful bridge was closed so we changed our plans and walked to the beautiful Jürmala gardens and relaxed a couple of hours on the beach. In the evening we had our first Event in Latvia.
On Wednesday with too warm 32 degrees we went towards Riga and some more miles up north, on our trip we did not search for too many caches at it was too hot, but some traditionals along the road and some virtuals in Riga had to be done.
On Thursday we went to Estonia and or main intention was to find the Oldie from February 2001. We found some more caches on our way before we reached Iide on Saaremaa island, where we stayed for one night.
On Friday we went to our next guestroom near Kuressaare and yesterday we took again the ferry and drove towards Tallinn, where we stay in Nomme for two nights before going to Finland. In Tallinn we did only a few caches because it was too hot for the dog. In the evening we had our second Event in these holidays.
Today we took the Megastar Ferry to Helsinki and drove up northeast to Juva, where we intend to stay for two nights.
Today we relaxed most of the day, but a shopping tour to juva had to be done, where we found a couple of caches, this was one of them
Thanks for this cache and best regards from northern Germany

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
