It took some time to figure out where to go to catch oneself on a picture from the webcam., as the picture on the cache page and the picture from the linked webcam differs...

The wash staion was open when we arrived, then Mr CityKatterna entered the building, did what he needed to do and left. At the same time, it started to raun heavily. Before we left, we noticed that "they" closed the doors to the wash station. We'll never know if it was because of the weather or our visit...

Finally summer vacation! This is our second real trip to Finland (the first one was along the route Helsinki-Oulu-Tornio in 2012) and so much left to experience in the Land of the 1000 lakes. This also means that it’s the second time we accept the challenge "Try to understand many cache descriptions in Finnish without knowing more than a few words"

infoA Webcam "cache" are caches that use existing web cameras placed by individuals or agencies that monitor various areas like parks or road conditions. The idea is to get yourself in front of the camera to log your visit. The challenging part, however, it that you need to call a friend to look up the web site that displays the camera shot. You will need to have them to save the picture to log the cache. You could also use your wireless modem or cell phoneand save the image yourself on your laptop.
