Found it BaSHful found Unicorn 075

Wednesday, 19 June 2019South East England, United Kingdom

Out and about with my good mate WhiteFriar on a day that was mostly dull and overcast with a fair bit of rain at times, though never heavy enough to cause us any significant trouble. We got wetter walking through long grass and searching in drenched vegetation! Our focus this week was to complete the Unicorn series but we continue to mop up Church Micros, SideTracked, Village Signs, Village Halls, Fine Pairs and challenge caches, whenever we can. A second small circuit and some cache 'n' dash to end with completed our schedule. 47 caches found and no DNFs - not a bad day after all!

A fun theme and clearly much, much effort has gone into creating this series. However, solving all the puzzles took a long, long time. Many are straightforward but there is a significant rump that proved most recalcitrant. Thank God for community support. This is the third attempt to collect these but with only 13 remaining we were determined we were finally going to finish the lot, which we duly did, and without undue difficulty today.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
