Found it The Bolas Heathens found Three Billy Goats Gruff

Thursday, February 25, 2010West Midlands, United Kingdom

Joint FTF @ 21:15 with Allun from the Shropshire Seekers

I'd seen the two DNF's on the cache during the day and had been chatting to Allun on the phone as he was searching for it in the morning. In the evening I was chatting to Allun on MSN and with my interest in sneaky hides, I could resist the cache no longer. We arranged to go out to have another look for it in the dark.

We were soon at GZ for stage 1 and I had an instant find in the first place I looked. We noted the details (there was no hint for the final cache in the micro) and walked the short distance to the final cache, which was also an instant find.

I'm not sure what was going on earlier as both cachers should have found the cache easily. They had both checked the place it was hidden and come up empty handed.

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
