Found it Count Smiley found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Tuesday, 26 August 2014Alberta, Canada

BCP638 Glendon

5:01pm Grabbed our clipboard and headed over to the coordinates. Spotted the pristine cap right away, snapped the photo and headed back to the car. A man working nearby in his garage had observed us and approached because he was concerned that we looked like we were on 'official business' and he owned the adjacent property. I tell ya, that clipboard gets them every time. Once we had explained geocaching and brass caps, he decided we had either won the lottery or must be crazy to have such a hobby. We assured him it was the latter, and that seemed to satisfy him. A fun cap that gave us a chuckle, thanks OFTH!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
