Found it wavector found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Friday, 04 May 2007Alberta, Canada

BCP320, Strathmore
This cap has been a real thorn in my side and I am not sure why. In my first search I used a measuring wheel and found the iron post that was cut off at ground level. The cap is actually about 12 inches from the iron post and I missed it when I found the post. After the cap had been found by Sleepy I returned only to be thwarted by a snowfall. I finally got a chance to drop by today and I found a broken survey stake, I knew the cap was nearby and after a few minutes I finally managed to uncover the cap. I am glad to say I found this one!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
