Found it The Wildleys found Merthyr Marathon MM6 - Friends Miners and Climbers

Tuesday, December 30, 2003South Wales, United Kingdom

We began this cache on Boxing Day, setting out just before the sky unleashed several hours of torrential rain. But that didn't stop us! We found the VC's with no trouble, but when we arrived at the final cache coordinates, we found ourselves in the middle of a field! Hmmmm, we puzzled, stroking our chins. If it hadn't been raining so darn hard, and slicingly windy as well, we would have spent more time prowling the perimeters.

We came back today in grey-skied but drier weather. We were rewarded with finer valley views than previously, and Elizabeth was pleased, as she's only ever been through the area at night, to take Scouts to the WICC. Simon found the cache with his keen eye.

Took coloured pencils; left an assortment of Christmas cracker prizes.

Thanks for the sixth excellent historical walkies, which also happened to be our 50th cache!

infoA multi-cache ("multiple") involves two or more locations, the final location being a physical container. There are many variations, but most multi-caches have a hint to find the second cache, and the second cache has hints to the third, and so on. An offset cache (where you go to a location and get hints to the actual cache) is considered a multi-cache.
