I think it was in 2010 that I first heard of the Jasmer challenge and started filling in some of the easier holes in my grid. In 2011 I took it a bit more seriously and I got down to eight squares outstanding, that being the best that could be done within the United Kingdom. No progress in 2012, so come 2013 I decided I really must get on with it. After much preparation I, and my best mate WhiteFriar, were on our way to the cradle of GeoCaching for some of the oldest caches in the world (and a few others).
Weather continuing warm, sunny and dry. We are off to Corvalis today where my uncle lives but that does not preclude us getting a few caches along the way....
A challenge with a difference. See my web page http://www.15ddv.me.uk/geo/chal/usa_challenges.html#03 for my list of qualifying caches. Of the cache itself I must confess my memory refuses to cough up any details, partially a consequence of catching up with my logging after returning back to England.
