Ok, first of all the FTF for this cap actually belongs to Takin it Easy. The TiE team where here on the 25th and were unaware that there were two caps located at this spot, a federal Benchmark cap standing several cm above ground with a nice big marker post complete with sign and the actual posted ASCM cap which was about 5 feet away, still a few cm above ground but somewhat hidden in longer grass. Very easy to miss when that benchmark cap was right there and so very obvious. So, I was forewarned by him via email, once he discovered that he had logged the wrong cap. Then like a dirty rat , I along with Mrs BVPete and Jack made a road trip on June 27 and found both caps, so although I am posting the first found log on the cap TiE is the real FTF. I walked around the ASCM cap a few times to make it more obvious in the grass.

Anyway Mrs BVPete, Jack and I had a fun trip here with the first stop being at Peppers Lake, a beautiful spot we had never been to previously where we found a couple of old caches. Then we found this cap(s) before taking the short walk with the very long staircase to view Ram Falls, a very spectacular sight indeed. After that and a little picnic we travelled to Hummingbird Falls area where we found a few more older caches and enjoyed the sights and sounds around those falls. Then it was time to head home to Cochrane about 237 kms away, via the forestry road to Bearberry / Sundre turn off, then hwy 22 the rest of the way.

Thanks for posting this cap ofth, it is in a great area and we had a wonderful day exploring.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
