We moved on to this one after finding the nearby Christmas Challenge. We were still wondering whether we'd been along this path last year. Had we found this cache before? Well no, and it took us a few minutes to find it too.

The problem was that Bobcat and I had differing interpretations of the hint. What was meant by "base" and "stone"? It turned out Bobcat was right. I'd been searching for a couple of minutes in all the wrong places when I think he took pity on me and showed me where the cache was. That means Bobcat wins today 3-2.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
