Found it starting2walk found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Friday, 05 June 2015Alberta, Canada

Today we visited Lake Louise to do some hiking. The shores of the lake were loaded with tourists (like ourselves, but most of them arrived by bus and left within the hour) so after admiring the view at water level plus 2 meters, we started the hike to the tea house (appr. 3.5 km).

Since we were rather early, the way up was not to hot and we arrived at the tea house in time to look around, take lots of pictures and ........ still have a little table on the varanda for some coffee an apple pie: delicious. After this break, some cache work had to be done: even further up the mountain towards Little Beehive to catch that brass point. So up we went another 900 meters to reach this virtual cache. There were other people there that helped me take a picture as proof. The brass cap information (BCP685) is send to the CO.

Outforthehunt thank you for all these virtuals in Alberta.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
