#3044 - Found Tuesday, 01 March 2016 at 12:42 PM

This was my 7th of 12 finds with 3 DNFs for this cache run.

I took the day off to enjoy a much needed mental health day. The weather was perfect for caching and I decided to tackle a number of SPACE caches that I've not had time, or skill, to tackle in the past. Until recently I was grabbing anything that I could but for some reason, once I passed 3000, my desire to do that faded and now it is more about quality than quantity.

I tried for this one a long time ago, I think in summer, and was defeated by the thorns. Returned today in the hope that the approach would be easier. It was, but only moderately so. I refused to be daunted today and forced my way through the guardians. Ruined a good shirt by achieved my goal. This was one of 5 SPACE caches today - a personal best. I enjoyed the twist at GZ but the thorns put too much of a damper on this one to earn a favorite.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
