Found it Mr. Speedy found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Friday, 09 June 2006Alberta, Canada

BCP035 - Sherwood Park - Strathcona Athletic Park

After nicolo and XRN95 saw it uncovered, I decided to check it out. You're right guys, you got lucky as it got covered up within 2 days! Sure enough this one is under a turf plug that had just been replaced. You can clearly see, though, where the plug covers the cap. A quick lift of the turf with a stick revealed the goods, but I couldn't take pictures of the cap. I have a nice picture of the grass plug, though. I had to explain what I was doing when some kids and their mother saw me taking pictures of their neighbour's backyard!

Just under that plug... Just under that plug...

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
