Didn't find it RedRouge couldn't find Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, 25 July 2010Alberta, Canada

BCP465 Loomis Mountain

We had an early start today but then had some route finding difficulties. This was made worse with some dramatic bushwhacking involving bikes and ropes. Several hours later we arrived at Oldum pond, ditched the bikes and began hiking. We to make a long story short, we didn't reach the summit. Sleepy Hollow did make it to the summit of the outlier and shortly thereafter we began our descent.

The views were spectacular and it was a long, gruelling but enjoyable day. Thanks for the adventure.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
