Found it huffinpuffin2 found That DANG! Cheezehead!! What's the Point to This??

Sunday, January 27, 2013Wisconsin

Sometimes, if you're lucky with a puzzle, you run around in circles, or go off in different directions, but at least you're going! Other times, you'll find yourself stumped, frozen, with no beginning in sight. And still other times, if you're really lucky, you quickly pass through the start-up phase, and jump on the right track to the solve.....this time, after a few short dead-ends, we tried a "Naw, couldn't be" route, and it paid off! Perhaps many of Cheezehead's puzzle are like that, but the tricky part - no, the lucky part - is jumping onto the right track. Extremely rewarding when it happens, which it rarely does, which is why it's so dang rewarding, right?

Shortly after 'HCH's 6th Annual Not so Super Sunday Event', we found our way to the Final, and parked as darkness and snow were rapidly coming down. Egad! Such a wickedly-wild place for a hide! How does the CO find these places? We immediately dig in, kinda, as best we can. It's a sloppy mess, but it's also a lot of fun. It took us a while to make the find, even calling upon the assistance of our photon guns, but we finally made the find. The super container we found was an added bonus! Kudos!

Thanks once again, HCH, for another terrificly creative and colorful puzzle, with a great hide at the end of the rainbow! It just keeps us coming back for more!

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
