Found it Wolf64 found Rift Valley

Wednesday, August 29, 2018Kenya

On our Lake Victoria circumnavigation we decided to visit GC53. Our first cache of the day was this one. In the morning there was always good weather and in the afternoon almost rain. So we started early to visit this cache. Fortunatly we had your gpx route downloaded. I think we were getting lost without this. The weather was good but the "road" was very wet and slippery. Huge waterholes. We made it to the cache site. 100m before GZ there was a huge waterhole and we had to make it with 4x4 and differential lock, because we had no rubberboots with us. Thank god we had the right car for this adventure!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
