Found it colincactus found Icon 100's (x 3) Challenge - Starter for 10

Sunday, January 4, 2015Southern England, United Kingdom

When I first started caching like most people I mainly found trads. After a few months I discovered puzzles and after that spent the majority of my time collecting them. So when this challenge was published I was not surprised to see that I wasn't qualified.

However I wasn't that far short on multis and I finally scraped into three figures this summer - I now have 111 of them. I've still got a long way to go to push a fourth icon past 100 and if current form continues I won't be back until 2017.

I only had time for one cache today and decided upon this one - thus making it my first cache of the year. A quick easy find - I spotted the cache as soon as I stepped off the path. The log was very wet though and I couldn't sign it with my pen - fortunately I had a pencil with me. I made sure that I screwed the lid back on tightly but it could do with being replaced.

I'll attach a screenshot of my statistics as proof of qualification.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
