Found it dronnord found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Monday, 24 April 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP147 Fort MacLeod

N 49° 43.629 W 113° 24.436..surprised it hit that good with all the refraction it was getting.

I had tried to access this cap years ago while vacationing in the area. I was on a tour of the Fort inside the Fort and remember thinking that I needed to go to the back of the Fort to get this cap. Of course it never happened so this is mostly just blank thoughts...I must say I never saw a Cap like this before and if I would of been on the ball I could of used it to repair my bad altitudes..sigh..it was fun besides all the drama I am putting on it. As CC21 had logged this one before he knew exactly how to get to it and the next one as well.

Thks for the memories and another interesting cap OFTH.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
