Found it nicolo found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, 15 May 2005Alberta, Canada

BCP081 ( Edmonton)
N53° 28.917 W113° 32.820

One of many caps found by XRN95, ibycus ( and Erwin ), New Direction, and myself.

Did a quick, but close, off-road stop and up we went.

I had looked for this one on my last trip to Edmonton but was unsuccessful. This time with three others and Old Yeller, we found it in about 10-15 minutes. In the end, we found it the hard way, with a compass. I left a little yellow and black glass prize for the next finder.

We bumped into Brat&Testy and another cacher ( forgot her name ) as we started our search. When we finished it, we bumped into another cacher ( moved from Lethbridge to Edmonton ) and had a nice, but brief chat.

Our last cap of the day ( total of 12 for me on this trip ) ... so many caps, so little time ... we'll be back!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
