Found it Ladybug1234 found An ASCM Virtual Cache

Monday, November 13, 2017Alberta, Canada

If it's Monday, it must be a geocaching day - to paraphrase a famous movie!

Today, our group consisted of Bearberry's Cub, Everhollow, Van der decken, and me. As usual, Everhollow and Van der decken had pretty cached out Canmore. However, the new BVPete Virtual and a brass cap were enticing enough for them to make the trip with Bearberry' Cub and me.

This one required quite a few steps to arrive the at the final location...oh, and did mention, stairs! Well worth the effort as the vistas were spectacular despite the low clouds and light rain. Thanks for the virtual, BVPete!

Where necessary for space considerations, some logs were signed BC, EH, VDD, and LB. This was a quick find. TFTC

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
