This cap was a lot of work. The cap is down in a hole about 18 inches deep, and the hole was filled with water. I walked along the ditch and found a discarded plastic milk container. I cut it open with a piece of metal that I found, and used it to bail out the hole. Then I found some plastic that could be used as a scoop to clean out the mud from the bottom of the hole to expose the cap. This was a rather messy job, but it is in good shape for the next hunters.
