Found it colincactus found Surrey Icon Challenge

Sunday, October 11, 2009South East England, United Kingdom

Completed - we really enjoyed this

We did the Surrey Icon Challenge on a very busy Sunday four weeks ago (13 Sept) - see our bookmark list for the details. We did a multi, letterbox, puzzle, earthcache, traditional and virtual. Not as impressive as some of those listed here (but ours were all done without using a GPS)

This was an easy find and again we didn't need a GPS - CC2 went straight to it and found it within seconds (although I was thinking of looking about 10 metres before there ). We were pleased to see such a good sized cache box.

It was really interesting reading all of the comments in the logbook - I was amazed that somebody managed 9 icons. We sat there for about ten minutes going through it, and while we were there a squirrel came by to investigate us.

Left the Banker travel bug and took the little digger.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
