Found it manjalou found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Wednesday, 05 April 2017Alberta, Canada

BCP 249 Ross Creek

We were out on an another FUN geocaching adventure with the Black Sharks looking for some caps and caches. There was lots of laughter and teasing and the day flew by as always happens on our geocaching trips with them!

We did a bit of zig zagging down the rural roads looking for this one as we had overshot the road we needed to turn down. But then we would have missed a beautiful Fieldstone Barn that we all admired. We stopped there on our way back on Mr. Black Sharks request as he is always on the lookout for the old barns. When we arrived at the BCP we found it encased in Cement. It didn't even need any cleaning for pictures. This was our last cap today as we pointed the vehicle back to Red Deer.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
