Found it Black Shark found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

BCP115 Rocky Mountain House

Our day of caching and capping was winding down and so, it seemed was our luck. We had nearly DNF'd the Nordegg cap but managed to leave with a smilie. Later we had to walk away from the other Rocky Mountain House cap (our first brass cap DNF ). That was immediately followed by a DNF on a cache so we were looking for a little redemption.

The sun had set but we knew this should be an easy find. Fortunately it was. We spotted the marker post as we drove up, walked over, scuffed at a depression and revealed the cap. Yes! Perhaps we weren't washed up at this game yet! We took care of the details then headed off to find some food before hitting the highway homeward.

Yes, we knew there was a fresh new cache close to home but that was an hour away and we had no reason to feel optimistic about a FTF. Correction, we were too hungry to really care! Perhaps we'd feel differently if it was still unlogged once we had something in our bellies.

Thanks for this and the other caps along our way today, outforthehunt. We appreciated what they added to our fun!

A happy but hungry Shark!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
