At the last cache, we could see we had we could take a stab at the final and then stay a straight (kind of) path out to the parking area, but in the end, decided to gather up this one final number before heading for the bonus. Up and up and up we went, back into that surprisingly biting wind. This was a cute one and Trekkin' wins the prize for guessing the correct final number needed! In retrospect, especially considering how generally disorganized our group was today, we are amazed Pete was willing to get his workout following us all through the preserve. We enjoyed his company and especially enjoyed hearing the story behind the inspiration of this series. Who'd have guessed it? Back we go to complete the series and find the last of the G.L.O.B.E.s. infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
