Found it 6NoisyHikers found Mammoth Tusk Hunt

Monday, 27 February 2012British Columbia, Canada

The 6NoisyHikers have been after this one for a while - and today we found out why! Doesn't help at all to search for a mystery cache at the coordinates listed on the page. Duh! Luckily, we had the real coordinates on paper and we quickly waypointed ourselves to GZ.

Cache had water inside and everything was mucky - not sure why because the container is in good shape. We put the log books in a fresh ziplock, dried the container out with a paper towel and replaced all the trashed swag with fresh goodies in ziplocks.

Took CITO coin. Fun little spot! TFTC

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
