Found it colincactus found Composing by Numbers #1

Monday, September 10, 2012Southern England, United Kingdom

I don't know why I didn't attempt this one when it came out last year but last night I was looking for a cache to resurrect and this was the first one I found.

Within 5 minutes I had the solution (I wish they were all like that). I tripped up on the checker a couple of times (Rimsky-Korsakov as ever). Another good puzzle.

We went out to get it tonight as Bobcat had finished his homework and we had a bit of time before Only Connect. It was starting to get dark but it was an easy find. Something has been chewing the cache bag by the way.

Swapped a fish for the fossil and signed the log.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
