Found it Count Smiley found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Friday, 08 July 2016Alberta, Canada

BCP356 Vermilion
We needed to do a bit of digging and dirt removal to get down to the cap where we found a very beat up brass cap. A grader that decided to make a 180 degree turn right by the cap had us a bit skitterish but the operator seemed to know what he was doing. Once we had passed 'trial by grader' we were under the watchful eye of a boy around 8 years old in the neighboring house who was very intrigued by our behavior. I am pretty sure he was going to thoroughly inspect that hole in the ground after we left. Thanks OFTH for another adventure.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
