First of all, I would like to express my thanks and respect to the owner for the excellent description of the geological and historical background of this EC!
This week I participate in an international symposium in Aveiro and after the final presentation of today I was walking around here to see the location and solve the questions.
Since I was working scientifically about pit lakes from coal, lignite and ore mining for about 15 years I was especially interested in this EC. Unfortunately, it is not possible to come close to the pit lake (for security reasons) but hopefully, sometimes it will be included in the touristic route of Aveiro.
