Found it colincactus found Tiger's Den

Thursday, November 28, 2013Southern England, United Kingdom

I've been trying to fill up my months found grid (for the years 2002 to 2006) for the Half Jasmer challenge

July 2003 had been an empty slot for me, so I had this cache pencilled in for that, until that is when I saw it that it had been vandalised and hadn't been replaced. My heart sank as that's usually the first indicator of a cache on the way out. Those fears were realised when over a few weeks in the summer it was first disabled and then archived.

It's very rare for a cache to get unarchived so I started to make plans to find another one for July 2003. Then suddenly after a three month break it was back - so thanks to madmurdock1 for taking it over.

I had a day off work today so doing this cache was my top priority. It was a nice drive down here (loads of pretty beeches at the moment on the Alton road) and the cache was an easy find. I took the travel bug and left a combination lock

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
