Found it gumbyphv found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Sunday, July 21, 2013Alberta, Canada

Today I found BCP452 Thorsby. Mrs. Gumby and I dropped our son off with my parents in Rimbey this morning then we had to come up to West Edmonton Mall. We weren't in any hurry so I decided to take back way so we could enjoy some different scenery other then Hwy 2. As we were driving along Hwy 39 just enjoying the drive I saw this brass cap pop up on my Nuvi. I mentioned that there was a brass cap coming up and Mrs. Gumby told me to stop, she figured it was a good time to stretch her legs too. We parked at a nearby approach and as we walked towards the monument I tried explaining to her what an ASCM was. I think she understood but I think she was surprised at what it looked like. Thanks for another brass cap and a great way to break up our drive. TFTC

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
