Found it GeoWyrm found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

BCP479 Memorial Park Calgary

A nice evening out with friends, at an even hosted by a wonderful couple from the US turned into a perfect excuse to get out for a walk and find a couple caches and a cap.

I am not sure who first suggested leaving the pub in favour of caching (I think it was uh-oh) but it sounded like a great idea to me! The pub was fun and it was a wonderful turnout of brand new cachers and a wonderful representation of the more experienced ones. After a while though, the heat and noise were just too much and a handful of us escaped to the relative cool of the evening. We laughed our way to the cap and took some photos while Ms. uh-oh made a 'friend'. That will teach her to stray from the pack!

Thanks for another opportunity for a Brass Cap OFTH!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
