Found it colincactus found Kirtlington Quarry

Sunday, July 22, 2012Southern England, United Kingdom

This was our 4th different icon today (aiming to do 11). We did this one while we were doing the Wherigo. Its a really interesting area - we spent about an hour here but I really I wish we could've stayed longer.

The three benches in a circle are now down to two sadly (it looks like somebody has uprooted one and used it to start a fire at the other end of the quarry).

I took some pictures (which I'm posting) and answered the questions (which I've emailed).

infoAn Earthcache is an educational form of a virtual cache. The reward for these caches is learning more about the planet on which we live - its landscapes, its geology or the minerals and fossils that are found there. Many Earthcaches are in National Parks. Some are multi-cache in form, and some have a physical log book located in or close to a Visitor Center. Earthcaches are developed in association with the Geological Society of America.
