Found it GJO_2010 found Brass Cap Cache- Smith-Dorrien Rd (Locked)

Friday, June 17, 2016Alberta, Canada

BCP 417 Boulder Creek

In Swan Hills area and with find #4600 being here, I wanted a classic virtual hide. With all the rain in the last 4 days, I figured the path into the Centre Of Alberta is probably a small stream right now so I went for this one (just recently found out about this great Alberta brass cap virtual). Quiet ride along the 33 to GZ, a small walk and found the cap(s) in great shape. Sent the info to the C.O., took a few pictures, then back on the road again. Thanks very much for keeping this virtual oldie going and dealing with hundreds of emails a week no doubt. A brave C.O.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
