Found it colincactus found School Days Puzzles #3: A, B, C, D.

Monday, December 7, 2015South East England, United Kingdom

Blimey this puzzle was a difficult one (and at odds with its GC code ironically). I couldn't get anywhere with it at first and the second hint (which I found by solving another of the COs puzzles) didn't help me at all. Then one day I was looking at it again and finally got that D'oh moment - sometimes I'm so slow. No problems with the decode and I was through the geochecker. Looking back at it now I can see how the hint helped me (but I still don't understand what the second one was about).

I tried looking for the cache last December but couldn't find it - I was working off my printout from when I had solved it a year before and when I got home I found the hint had been updated (and maybe the cache had been moved too). I saw that the CO had checked that the cache was in place six months ago so I decided to attempt a resuscitation today.

It was quite busy along here today with a tractor doing some hedging. My heart sank as I arrived at the GZ as I found an old muggle couple standing close by with a camera. I stopped and spent a minute or two taking off my boots to get rid of a couple of annoying stones. By the time I had finished they had too so I was left to search in peace.

It took me about five minutes to find the cache. I had searched two trees thoroughly and was starting to think it might have gone. But the first place I checked at the third tree contained the cache. I was very pleased to have my second resuscitation of the afternoon - this one was last found in March 2014.

I signed the log and left the Fire Geocoin.

Awarding a fave point for the great D'oh moment when I solved it.

infoA Mystery Cache is the “catch-all” of cache types, this form of cache can involve complicated puzzles you will first need to solve to determine the coordinates. The only commonality of this cache type is that the coordinates listed are not of the actual cache location but a general reference point, such as a nearby parking location. Due to the increasing creativity of geocaching this becomes the staging ground for new and unique challenges.
