Found it rifkindsss found Pont du Gard # le lit

Friday, September 7, 2012Languedoc-Roussillon, France

This year we were invited to a wedding in Folgueroles, Spain, so we postponed our vacations till September and decided to visit the south of France, with a quick visit to Monaco and Italy. As we flew to Barcelona, our first cache was at Barcelona Airport (T1).

As we walked along, Rifkind kept taking photos of the bridge. Since the sun was shining on this side, light got quite better from this angle. :)
The way was rather hot, so we were really, really jealous of all the people swimming at the river. But we had a mission, and a tight schedule! We had a few caches to find, before lunch, and being 12:05, we had little time to do it!
It may sound kind of obvious, but the Pont du Gard it quite the center-piece of this place.

Having seen the bridge from the north, from below and from the south, it was time to power-up our feet and climb to Aqueduc Romain : Le Pont du Gard vu du haut.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
