Out for a walk getting a cache nearby and I figured I might as well get this one too! Nice and easy to find with the white survey marker post next to it. It was rather cloudy out, so my coordinates might have been a bit off, but I figured I'd take an average over this cap (for a change! Usually I either forget, or just mark a waypoint without averaging ). I should really visit this area more often - it's really quite beautiful over here. The nice old buildings and the view of our most precious resource. Extra nice when it's green and full of colourful flowers too!
A little disappointing to see some folks are posting complete, unaltered photos of the caps! This is the same as posting the answer to the virtual or the puzzle, or final coordinates of a multi! I could log a whole bunch of caps I've never seen just by looking at other people's photos showing all the numbers and years. Hopefully some folks start covering or blurring their cap photos. TFTCap!!

Lovely smelling Lilacs in bloom! :D

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
