Found it Bearberry's Cub found An ASCM Virtual Cache

Monday, November 13, 2017Alberta, Canada

Our group today included Ladybug1234, Everhollow, van der Decken and me. Although Everhollow didn't have very many caches to find and van der Decken had cached out Canmore, this new virtual cache and brass cap were enough of a draw to get them back to Canmore. Ladybug and I still have quite a few caches to find so we will be making more trips to the area in the future.

I was happy to learn that BVPete had been chosen as one of just 4,000 cachers to create and have a virtual cache published. Congratulations, you deserve it.

It was a nice day temperature-wise but we did get some rain on our approach to GZ so didn't linger too long. Answers have been sent to the CO. Thanks for the virtual cache.

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
