Brass Cap 1 of 10 tonight

I was out with rustywa and kristaandgeoff tonight for our weekly caching run. Tonight we decided to do something a little different and focus almost exclusively on Brass Caps as there has been a lot of talk about the subject on Facebook and in the Caching forums as of late. We decided to start with this cap as it is celebrating the Brass Cap cache and all the great adventures that come with it. We pulled up to a very familiar spot and made our way across the grass to GZ. The cap was present, in good repair and very easy to find. Thanks for another cap, the adventure and the fun!

infoA virtual cache is a cache that exists in a form of a location. Depending on the cache "hider," a virtual cache could be to answer a question about a location, an interesting spot, a task, etc. The reward for these caches is the location itself and sharing information about your visit.

Because of the nature of these geocaches, you must actually visit the location and acquire the coordinates there before you can post. In addition, although many locations are interesting, a virtual cache should be out of the ordinary enough to warrant logging a visit.

Virtuals are now considered waymarks on Waymarking.com.
