Friday, 07 September 2012Occitanie, France

This year we were invited to a wedding in Folgueroles, Spain, so we postponed our vacations till September and decided to visit the south of France, with a quick visit to Monaco and Italy. As we flew to Barcelona, our first cache was at Barcelona Airport (T1).

And here we were, at the other end of the aqueduct. A little more history, as we crossed the bridge. It was a nice crossing, with a nice view to the oh-so-nice water and the river bed. We also got to learn a bit more on why the bridge looked better (hint: it's a lot newer) than the aqueduct.
The spot was in the right light for a few photos, and we took advantage of that. Or tried. It could have gone better.

After reading everything and spending a few megabytes on the camera card, we went to another point of view: Aqueduc Romain : Le Pont du gard vu du bas.

infoThis is the original cache type consisting, at a bare minimum, a container and a log book. Normally you'll find a tupperware container, ammo box, or bucket filled with goodies, or smaller container ("micro cache") too small to contain items except for a log book. The coordinates listed on the traditional cache page is the exact location for the cache.
